Genuine Innovations is a very proud sponsor of the Outdoors for All Foundation. The Outdoors for All Foundation is a national leader and one of the largest nonprofit organizations providing year round instruction in outdoor recreation for people with physical, developmental, and sensory disabilities. Each year more than 2,000 children and adults with disabilities exercise their abilities thanks to the training and support of more than 700 volunteers.
Since 2007, Outdoors for All has participated in the Annual Cascade Bicycle Club Seattle to Portland Bike Ride (STP) and the number of participants with the Outdoors for All team has risen from 25 to 50 riders, with a variety of these participants having a physical or mental disability. These riders join the team for a number of reasons- to develop new friendships, improve physical fitness, increase self-confidence and gain exposure to new adaptive equipment. “With the success of the Outdoors for All STP team, it’s in our mission’s best interest to develop a year-round Outdoors for All Cycling Team and with the support of Genuine Innovations we’ve been able to keep our wheels turning!” Morgan Kokenge, Outdoors for All Development Manager.
